I took a 30-minute train ride from Edinburgh to this quaint seaside town, known as North Berwick.

I walked up North Berwick Law, which is a volcanic hill that offers stunning panoramic views of East Lothian.

The weather was perfect, which is rare in Scotland, so there were many people enjoying the seaside.

I ended the day with a boat tour that I booked through https://www.seabird.org/. I did the three islands seabird seafari, which takes you out on an inflatable boat to the islands of the Lamb, Craigleith and the famous Bass Rock. Sadly, puffin season was over, so I only got to see two. I’d never seen so many seabirds in my life!
