St. Andrews Castle was a bishop’s palace, a fortress and a state prison during it’s 450-year history. Protestant Preacher, George Wishart’s body, was burned inside these castle walls. Catholic Cardinal, David Beaton, was murdered inside the walls.

St. Andrew’s Cathedral Graveyard – long before it was a cemetery, St. Andrews Cathedral was Scotland’s largest church. The cathedral was abandoned during the 16th century Scottish Reformation and fell into ruin.
Many notable people have attended the University of St. Andrews, including: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge; Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge; Alex Salmond, former first minister of Scotland; and Benjamin Franklin.
I popped into this cute clothing, lifestyle & coffee store called Spoiled Life. My next stop was in Rogerson Shoes, which was referred to me by my local friend. They had the most unique sneakers. Brunch was outside on a lovely patio at Bibi’s Cafe. The food was delicious and healthy.
